Windsor Country Village is independent living in a tranquil, garden setting, offering privacy yet companionship in a secure and pleasant setting. Your individual Villa gives you the privacy and seclusion of your own home. However, come to the Community Centre and you will see why our Residents are so happy.

Our community centre is the heart of the Village, with daily events and Village Bus outings for everyone. Meet fireside for an evening drink, for afternoon tea in the gardens, or just to read the newspaper in the library. With Tai Chi and craft classes, fellowship and carpet bowls, there is something for everyone. You could even take out the annual prize in the Pool Comp or Courtyard Competition!

Our social committee is seriously active organising dinners, outings, cake stalls and fashion shows to name a few. There are visits from the local school, Melbourne Cup lunches and Australia Day BBQ’s. We also have a visiting hairdresser, medical and pharmacy service.

Our friendly Village Manager is available 9 -5pm business days and manages our team to ensure that you are left free to enjoy your life.

Activities & Services

Social Gatherings

Our social committee is seriously active organising regular dinners in & lunch outings, cake stalls, garage sales and fashion shows. There are visits from the local primary school, ANZAC services, Melbourne Cup lunches & Australia Day BBQ’s. There are always friends to share Christmas, New Years & birthday festivities. New events & outings are frequently added at Residents suggestion.

Our Village Bus

The Village Bus seats 18 and takes weekday trips to Windsor, Riverstone & Richmond. Every Wednesday, the bus goes to different locations as chosen by the Residents, including the fruit markets, Marsden Park Bunnings & Ikea. There are also additional lunch, dinner/theatre & weekend outings. Rob & Mark, our bus drivers are a much loved part of our Village team.

Carpet Bowls

Join us in the Community Centre on Friday evenings for a robust round of carpet bowls. Everyone is welcome to join in or sit fireside and watch the regular competition and enjoy the social atmosphere.

Gardening

Our common gardens are the pride of many at Windsor Country Village. Whilst everyone has their own private garden courtyard, some residents enjoy the many benefits of community gardening. Be as involved as you want...or just sit back and enjoy the beautiful gardens and lush lawns that are maintained by others.

Pool & Billiards

Enjoy the facilities with friends and family, or get involved in our annual Billiards Competition. We have a few pool sharks in the house, but maybe you could win the prize money and have your name engraved on our Trophy!

Fireside Drinks

Join us daily fireside in wintertime for a fun social gathering. We bring our own drinks and enjoy the pleasant social atmosphere with friends and family.

Games Nights

We have a regular Rummikrub night every Wednesday, so come and join in the fun. We also have trivia nights and other special events. There are also plenty of games to share and play at anytime with friends and family.

Newspapers, Library & Business Centre

Enjoy the convenience of daily newspapers or browse through our regularly updated and extensive library. We also have a computer, printer and community centre WIFI available for your convenience.

Village Manager

We have an on-site Village Manager available to assist where necessary Monday to Fridays 9am-5pm, except public holidays. Whilst the Village is self-care, the Village Manager manages the common property maintenance and the smooth running of all Village activities.
